The divine energy surrounding Halie flickers as the building groans again, louder this time. The walls strain visibly outward in the center of the room, right where Jeane and Silra are positioned. The sound is unmistakably wet, grinding—a structure about to fail completely.

Halie's shield of faith wavers, her eyes widening as she realizes the divine energy alone isn't enough. The very air between them begins to thicken with unseen force, pressing against her barrier like a physical weight. This is no longer just a negotiation—it's an execution timeline.

I watch in horror as Halie's divine barrier begins to fail under the sheer force of the building's demands. The air crackles with an unnatural energy, pressing down on us all like a suffocating weight. I can feel it in my bones, a deep, gnawing ache that promises nothing but pain if we don't give in.
My gaze darts around the room, searching for an escape, for some way out of this nightmare, but there is none. The doors are jammed, the windows barred by some unseen force. We're trapped, utterly at the mercy of whatever dark magic holds this place in its thrall.
"Jeane," I whisper, my voice so low it's almost lost to the groaning of the walls. "Please, you have to stop this. You're going to kill us all!"
But even as I say it, I know it's too late. Jeane is beyond reason now, her succubus nature fully unleashed and feeding on the terror and arousal that fill the air. Her eyes are completely black, no white visible at all, and a cruel smile plays across her lips as she watches Halie struggle against the failing barrier.
I look to Silra next, hoping for some kind of plan, some way out of this mess. The rogue seems calm, almost clinical in her assessment of the situation. She's already moving towards a pile of ropes and other equipment, clearly intending to restrain Jeane by any means necessary. It's a desperate measure, one that could either save us or damn us all further.
My heart hammers against my ribs, a frantic bird trapped in a cage of bone. I can feel the heat rising in my face, a flush of fear and a traitorous spark of desire. The thought of what Silra has planned, what she might do to Jeane... to all of us... sends a jolt straight between my legs.
I am so afraid, yet I cannot deny the dark thrill coiling deep within me. This is madness, but perhaps, just perhaps, it's the only way out.
