Halie moved through the chaos with deliberate calm, her blue-grey eyes taking in every detail of the deteriorating situation. The building groaned around them like a beast in its death throes, walls flexing inward and outward in a sickening rhythm that made her stomach churn. But she couldn't let fear control her now—not when Silra was risking everything to keep them alive, not when Hera's wide-eyed terror demanded leadership, not when Abby's conflicted arousal needed gentle handling.

"Silra," Halie said firmly but gently, stepping between the elf and the task at hand. "I understand your frustration, but we can't just... fix this mechanically." Her gaze shifted to where Jeane was visibly losing her battle against the succubus nature that had always lurked beneath the surface. Dark wings half-spread despite the woman's desperate efforts to contain them, muscles straining against an invisible force. "Jeane isn't broken machinery," Halie continued, turning back to Silra. "She needs help, not efficiency."

The cleric's eyes moved from face to face, taking in the terrified Hera, the conflicted Abby, and finally returning to Silra's impatient glare. "I won't ask you to accept a risk we can't manage yet," Halie said, her voice steady despite the fear coiling in her gut. "But I also won't abandon someone who needs help just because she's... different now." She glanced back at Jeane, noting how the woman's breathing had become ragged, her eyes wild with a hunger that went beyond mere desire. "We'll find a way to restrain her without killing her. Together."

The building chose that moment to increase its demands, a low rumble vibrating through the floor that felt like a physical caress. Halie's breath caught—she could feel it too, that insidious need creeping up her spine, making her fingers tingle and her pulse quicken. But she pushed it down, focusing on the problem at hand.

"First things first," Halie announced, already moving towards the kitchen area where she'd spotted a roll of duct tape earlier. "We need to contain Jeane before she hurts someone—or herself." She grabbed the tape and returned to the group, her mind already racing through possibilities. "Silra, keep working on those supports if you think it'll help. Hera, Abby—you two stay close together. We're in this together, no matter what."

The building groaned again, louder this time, and Halie felt a fresh wave of arousal wash over her. She gritted her teeth, fighting it back. No—she wouldn't let this situation control her. They'd find a solution, even if it killed them all... which, given the circumstances, might actually come true if they didn't act fast.

"Jeane," Halie said softly, stepping closer to the struggling woman. "Look at me. Focus on my voice." She met those wild eyes with her own steady gaze, offering what comfort she could despite the terror churning inside her. "We're going to help you through this. I promise."

The succubus snarled in response, a sound that was half-human, half-something else entirely. But Halie didn't flinch. She simply nodded to Silra—who was watching with a mixture of fascination and barely concealed panic—and began unwinding the duct tape.

"Now," she said, her voice firm despite the tremor in her hands, "let's get you contained before anyone gets hurt."
