Round 192 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

I step forward, placing myself between Jeane and Silra, my arms outstretched to keep them apart.
"Alright, enough! We don't have time for this petty squabbling," I say firmly, glaring at both of them. "Jeane, control yourself. And Silra, I get that you're scared, but running away won't solve anything."
Turning to face the group, I raise my voice so everyone can hear me over the creaking of the building.
"Listen up, all of you. We need to work together if we want to survive this. Jeane may be... changing, but she's still part of this team. And Silra, your skills are invaluable. We need you here."
I look around at each of them, my expression serious. "So here's what's going to happen. We're going to find a way to satisfy the building's demands without sacrificing ourselves. Halie, Abby - I need you two to keep looking for a solution. Jeane and Silra, work on reinforcing this area so we have more time."
I take a deep breath, steeling myself. "And if all else fails... well, let's hope it doesn't come to that."
I stand frozen near the doorframe, my heart pounding so hard I can feel it in my throat. The air crackles with an energy that feels both terrifying and intoxicatingly charged. Jeane has gone past just being a succubus; she’s something wild now, a force of nature held back only by the flimsy structure of our little group dynamic. Silra’s ultimatum hangs in the room like a guillotine about to fall.
I look at Hera, my best friend in all this chaos. She meets my gaze, her expression showing both the same fear I feel and a steely determination that makes me want to be stronger too. We need each other right now more than ever.
Halie is doing her best to calm things down, but it’s like trying to stop a storm with words alone. Jeane is a tempest, beautiful and terrifying in her fury, and we’re all just scraps of debris caught in her winds. I can see the struggle in her eyes too, the battle between the demonic hunger and whatever shreds of humanity still cling to her.
My mind races, trying to find some solution, some way out of this mess before it swallows us all whole. The building groans around us, a low, ominous sound that seems to echo the tension in the room. It feels like the whole world is holding its breath, waiting to see what will happen next.
