Phase: resolution · forced · organic escalating

Halie moved through the room with purpose, her blue-grey eyes fixed on Silra's trembling form as the architect fought to maintain concentration over the building's demands. The air crackled with sexual tension and barely-contained demonic energy—Jeane's presence was a palpable force in the confined space, her crimson eyes glowing with unmistakable hunger.
"Forty minutes," Silra repeated through gritted teeth, her hands clenching around the tablet as another psychic moan shook the walls. "If we don't reinforce those columns properly, this entire floor collapses." She glanced at Jeane, then quickly away—meeting the succubus's gaze felt like staring into a furnace. "I know what I'm doing. Just... give me space."
Halie positioned herself between the two women, her small silver cross catching the light as she moved. "We stand with you," she said to Silra, her voice steady despite the building's insistent thrumming. She placed a hand on the architect's shoulder—an offer of support, not intimacy. To Jeane, who hovered near the doorway like a predator assessing its territory, Halie turned her attention.
"You want us to leave? Fine." The words carried no heat, only cold calculation. "But you're not touching Silra while she works. And before you suggest alternatives..." Her eyes narrowed fractionally. "...let's be clear: no one is fucking this building until the repairs are done. That's our deal."
Jeane's laugh was sharp and bitter, her wings flexing in a way that made the air stir unnaturally. "Deal? You think you can make deals with me in MY house?" She took a step forward, her voluptuous form moving with predatory grace despite her obvious discomfort. The building's demands pulsed through her in visible waves—her breasts heaved, her thighs clenched—but she held herself rigid against the onslaught.
"Fine," she hissed, though it clearly cost her to restrain her demonic nature. "Do your work, little elf. But know this: every minute you waste, every line of code you write instead of spreading those legs..." Her crimson eyes locked onto Silra's face. "...the building gets hungrier. And I'm not responsible for what happens when it gets truly desperate."
Halie met Jeane's gaze without flinching, though she had to fight the instinct to back away from such raw power. "We understand the risks," she said calmly. "But we also understand that rushing into half-assed solutions is how buildings collapse. You want us out? Then let Silra work. I'll keep you company—" she gestured to the far side of the room, as far from the work area as possible "—over there. We can talk about... other things."
Jeane's lip curled in a sneer, but after a moment she nodded sharply and moved to the indicated corner, her wings settling with an audible rustle. The air seemed to cool slightly in her absence near Silra's workstation.
"Thank you," Silra whispered, not looking up from her tablet but clearly grateful for Halie's intervention. She took a deep breath, then another, visibly centering herself. "I can do this. Forty minutes. Just..." Another psychic moan vibrated through the walls, and she clenched her jaw. "Focus."
