Phase: resolution · forced · organic escalating

Hera moved through the cluttered workshop with a purpose, her amber eyes scanning the room for any sign of progress. The air was thick with tension and something else—an electric undercurrent that prickled at her skin and made her heart race just a little faster. She'd seen enough in her life to recognize the signs of impending disaster, even if she couldn't quite put her finger on what was causing it this time.
Silra stood near the welder, her face set in concentration as she worked on some complex contraption. Her hands moved with practiced ease, but Hera noticed the way they occasionally trembled, as if fighting against an unseen force. She opened her mouth to speak, then closed it again, unsure what to say that wouldn't add to the growing sense of unease.
Jeane, on the other hand, was a different story entirely. The succubus paced back and forth like a caged animal, her movements fluid and graceful but underscored by an underlying restlessness that set Hera's teeth on edge. Every few seconds she'd pause to run her fingers along the edge of the workbench, leaving faint scratches in the metal that spoke volumes about her current state of mind.
Halie tried to mediate, her gentle voice barely audible over the hum of machinery and the pounding of Hera's own heart. But even she seemed on edge, her usually calm demeanor cracking as she glanced nervously between Silra and Jeane.
Enough was enough. Hera took a deep breath, steeling herself for what she knew needed to be said. "Everyone, just stop for a moment," she called out, her voice cutting through the tension like a knife. She looked around at the group, her gaze lingering on Silra. "Silra, what's the hold up? We're all on edge here, but we need to trust your expertise."
She turned to Jeane next, her expression firm despite the flutter of unease in her stomach. "And Jeane, I get that you're frustrated, but snapping at Silra isn't helping anyone. We're all working towards the same goal here - keeping this building from...well, from falling apart or worse."
