Round 37 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

Hera watches intently as Silra works diligently on repairing the sybian frame, her skilled hands carefully welding and reinforcing the structure. Though impressed by the elf's technical prowess, Hera can't help but feel a growing unease about their situation. As Jeane's insistent suggestions about incorporating sexual elements into the design echo in her mind, Hera finds herself questioning the wisdom of such an approach. While part of her is undeniably aroused by the thought, another part of her resists being manipulated by the building's demands. Hera steps forward, her voice trembling slightly with a cocktail of lust and trepidation. "I appreciate your expertise, Silra," she says, trying to keep her tone level. "But I'm not sure adding more...intimate features is the best idea right now. We need to focus on making this thing work, not just making it sexy."
She glances around at the others, feeling the weight of their expectations bearing down on her. "Does anyone else think we should prioritize function over form? We're running out of time here."
I watch Silra and Jeane discuss the design, my heart hammering in my chest as their voices rise and fall like a strange rhythm. The tension between them is palpable, a stark contrast to the quiet, almost reverent way Hera works on her own task nearby.
My eyes flicker over the scattered diagrams and tools spread across the workbench before settling back on Silra's face. She looks so focused, so determined to get this right. I admire that about her, the way she can shut out the world when she has a goal in mind. But I worry too. This building... it demands things. And we have no idea what it wants from us next.
I take a step closer, my bare feet silent on the cool floor. The air feels thick with unspoken desires and the faint scent of metal shavings and sweat. It's intoxicating in its own way, but I find myself more drawn to Silra’s practicality than Jeane’s subtle hints at pleasure.
"I hope we can get this done soon," I say softly, my voice barely audible over the soft clinking of tools on the workbench. "Before... well, you know. Before it gets angry."
My gaze drifts towards the large metal paneling that now covers one wall, a stark reminder of what this room was meant to be for. A shiver runs down my spine as I think about how close we came to being used by it already.
I pick up the blueprints again, tracing lines with my finger while ignoring Jeane's subtle influence in the air. "We need structural integrity first—this thing has to support all your weight and vibrations without collapsing under its own design." I tap the frame plans. "The 'together' requirement means everyone uses it sequentially or simultaneously, but that doubles load stresses." I glance at Hera and Abby. "Unless you two have some brilliant way to operate this together without breaking it?" My tone is professional, borderline sarcastic—keeping things clinical despite my own growing arousal and the building's pressure pulsing through the walls.
