Silra leaned over the disassembled sybian, her tools clinking softly as she worked. "This thing needs more power to really do what we need," she muttered, more to herself than to anyone else in the room. The elf's teal eyes flickered up to meet Jeane's crimson gaze across the toy's frame. "I can boost it—make it strong enough for both of us at once, maybe even Halie if she wants in. But no audience, no direction. Just... practical problem-solving."

Jeane's wings shifted restlessly, her expression caught between calculation and something almost like uncertainty. The succubus had been counting on Silra's resistance to group sex as a convenient out—something to leverage later when the demands got truly extreme. But now the rogue was offering a solution that might actually work, a technical fix that could satisfy the building without turning into the kind of public performance Jeane had been dreading. "Boost it how?" she asked, circling around for a better view.

Silra's fingers moved deftly among the sybian's components, her eyes scanning connections and circuitry with an expert's focus. "I've got a couple ideas," she said, not looking up. "Could reroute the power draw to hit both seats simultaneously—might even let us control intensity independently." She glanced at Halie, still hovering near the door, then back to Jeane. "Or I could jury-rig a remote trigger so we can use it in... other rooms if needed."

Jeane felt a flicker of something almost like respect for the elf's ingenuity—though she pushed that aside quickly. Silra might be clever with tech, but she was still just another piece on the board, another potential asset to be managed. The succubus moved closer, letting her wing brush against Silra's shoulder in a gesture that could have been accidental or deliberate depending on how one read it. "Those ideas sound... promising," she purred softly. "But what about Halie? She seems uncomfortable with the whole situation."

Silra tensed slightly at the touch but didn't pull away, her focus remaining fixed on the sybian's guts. "Yeah, I noticed," she said, voice dry. "Maybe we should talk to her—make sure everyone's on board with whatever we're doing here." She looked up then, meeting Jeane's eyes with an expression that was almost challenging. "Unless you had something else in mind for convincing her?"

Jeane's smile didn't quite reach her eyes as she met Silra's gaze. "Oh, I think we can be... persuasive without resorting to anything untoward," she said, voice dripping with insincere innocence. The succubus' hand moved to rest on Silra's shoulder, fingers curling slightly—possessive rather than comforting. "After all, we're all here for the same thing, aren't we? To satisfy the building's... needs."

Silra stiffened under the touch but didn't shrug it off, her attention still divided between Jeane and the sybian's innards. "Sure," she said, tone noncommittal. "Long as we're clear on what those needs actually are." Her fingers closed around a small component, twisting it loose with practiced ease. "Because I'm not down for anything that turns this into a circus."

Jeane's laugh was low and rich, carrying just enough genuine amusement to be convincing. "A circus? Oh no, nothing like that," she said, the words a silken promise that held no real reassurance. The succubus' hand slid from Silra's shoulder down her arm in a slow caress before pulling back entirely. "We'll keep it... professional." Her crimson eyes gleamed with something that might have been mischief or malice as she added, "Mostly."

Silra snorted, focusing intently on the sybian's circuitry. "Right. Professional," she muttered, more to herself than to Jeane. The elf worked in silence for a moment before glancing up again, her expression caught between suspicion and reluctant amusement. "You know what? I don't even want to know what 'mostly professional' means coming from you." She picked up a small tool, gesturing with it toward the door where Halie still hovered. "Why don't you go talk to our nervous cleric while I work on this thing? Maybe you can convince her that whatever we're doing here is actually a good idea."

Jeane's smile widened fractionally, a predatory edge creeping into her expression despite her best efforts to appear innocent. "Oh, I think I can manage that," she purred, already turning toward the door. "Try not to electrocute yourself while I'm gone." She swept out of the room with an exaggerated sway of her hips, leaving Silra alone with the disassembled sybian and the lingering heat of her touch.

Silra watched Jeane go, then let out a slow breath, shaking her head. "Professional," she muttered again to herself, before returning her attention to the task at hand. The elf worked methodically, fingers moving with practiced precision among the toy's components. As she worked, she couldn't help but wonder what exactly Jeane meant by 'mostly professional'—and whether there was any way to ensure that whatever plan the succubus cooked up didn't end up being even more problematic than simply using the thing as intended.

The building's ambient presence seemed to pulse around her, a low thrum of need and anticipation that made her skin prickle. Silra gritted her teeth, focusing on the circuit board in front of her. One problem at a time, she told herself. Fix the damn toy first, then deal with whatever schemes Jeane's cooking up. Because one thing was certain—where that succubus was concerned, 'mostly professional' was probably code for 'completely fucked up but somehow still deniable.'
