I watch Jeane maintain her complex magical field over Hera, my heart pounding in my chest. The way she effortlessly controls such powerful energies is both terrifying and strangely arousing. I feel a chill run down my spine as she turns her gaze towards me, a predatory smile playing on her lips.
She takes a slow step closer to where I'm standing, and I instinctively take one back, my body responding before my mind can catch up. Her eyes lock onto mine, and I feel like a mouse caught in the sight of a cat.
"I've been watching you," she purrs, her voice so low it's almost lost beneath the thumping music. She lifts a hand, tracing a finger lightly down my cheek, sending sparks through me. "You're such an obedient little thing, aren't you?"
