Abby

Abby · Civilian

I stand frozen at the door, my heart hammering against my ribs like a trapped bird. Hera's warm hand on mine does little to still its frantic rhythm. The muffled sounds from beyond this heavy wooden barrier have grown louder, more insistent, a symphony of pleasure that both terrifies and intrigues me in equal measure.
I turn my head slightly, my eyes wide as they meet Jeane's predatory gaze. She lounges on the chaise lounge like a queen on her throne, her wings rustling softly with every slight movement she makes. The memory of those wings unfurling is seared into my mind, a stark reminder that this creature before me is anything but human.
My voice catches in my throat as I try to speak, coming out as little more than a strained whisper. "What... what was that? Those things you said about the door being locked." I swallow hard, trying to find some courage deep within myself. "And your... wings. They weren't just an illusion, were they?"
The question hangs in the air between us, heavy with unspoken implications. I can feel Hera's grip on my hand tighten slightly, a silent show of support that means more than any words could right now. But even her presence does little to quell the rising tide of panic within me. If what Jeane said about those women is true... if she really did turn them into some kind of monsters... then I need to get out of here before it's too late for me too.*

Jeane

Jeane · Succubus

I circle around Silra's defensive posture, my wings unfurling slightly for emphasis rather than flight. The movement is fluid, deliberate—predatory without seeming aggressive yet. My voice shifts to a tone that carries both seduction and warning: "Your hand keeps drifting toward an empty scabbard, little elf. Is that how you greet potential friends? Or are you looking for something you've... misplaced?"

My eyes flick toward Abby, still frozen at the threshold with Hera's protective hand on hers. I smile directly at her, a genuine expression of invitation rather than the coy smirk aimed at Silra. "Come now, sweet thing—Hera worries too much. You're safe here, safer than you've been all night probably."

Silra

Silra · Rogue

I move between Jeane and the wide-eyed Abby, my hand resting on the empty scabbard where my blade should be. The sounds from beyond the door are unmistakably carnal, growing louder with each passing moment. "Safety," I repeat, tasting the word like spoiled milk. "You expect me to believe this is safer than whatever lurks in there just because you say so? Safer how? And at what cost?"

Hera

Hera · Civilian

I step forward, placing myself protectively between Jeane and Abby. My eyes narrow as I study the succubus, trying to read her true intentions behind the seductive smile. "Abby's my friend," I say firmly. "And right now, she needs a friend more than whatever promises you're making." I glance at Silra, nodding approvingly at her defensive stance. "Looks like we've got some things to discuss before anyone makes any decisions about this party of yours."

Turning back to Jeane, I cross my arms and meet her gaze steadily. "You say there's no catch. No hidden costs or surprises. But forgive us if that's not enough to ease our worries after what happened last time." I shake my head slowly. "So here's what's going to happen. We're going to have a nice, long talk about exactly what goes on in these parties of yours. And if we're satisfied with the answers, then maybe, possibly, Abby might consider joining."

My tone hardens as I finish speaking. "But make no mistake - we won't be separated. No one gets left behind or cut off from her friends." I move closer, my voice a whisper. "So you can drop the act, Jeane. We're not that naive anymore. And we're sure as hell not going to let you pull any tricks on us again."
