Jeane

Jeane · Succubus

I circle Silra slowly, my wings stirring the air between us. Her elven grace is undeniable, but it's her calculating gaze that truly intrigues me—the careful catalog of movement, the subtle tension in her stance. She's weighing the offer not as a desperate plea, but as a strategic negotiation. Halie's interference grates on my nerves more with each word. The Cleric positioning herself between Silra and me—my mark—and stating 'Silra is my friend' like some misguided guardian? It's laughable, really. She knows nothing of the bond I'm offering or the power it would bring. I stop before Silra, addressing her directly while my eyes flick warningly toward Halie. "Your Cleric friend means well," I purr, voice carrying barely-contained irritation beneath the smooth seduction, "but this is a decision for you alone." My wings flare once, a gesture of frustration barely contained. To Halie: "You overstep, girl. This isn't your choice to make." The threat hangs unspoken—her interference has consequences I'm not above collecting. Back to Silra, my voice softens to something almost genuine: "What I offer is power, yes, but more—a connection that will sharpen your senses beyond mortal limits, heal you faster than should be possible, let you taste magic on the wind like a sorceress born." My hand reaches out, not quite touching her arm. "You'd have an edge no one else possesses—an advantage that could tip every fight in our favor."

I wait for her response, patience thin but visible effort maintained. The clock ticks somewhere in the luxurious room, counting down seconds until I need to remind them all who holds the power here.

Silra

Silra · Rogue

I circle the room twice more before stopping near Halie, cataloging her movements as thoroughly as I've studied every other variable in this bizarre arrangement. "You say 'friend' like it's a shield against contracts and power plays," I say coolly. "But you're not the one being offered an upgrade, are you?" Her protectiveness is admirable, misplaced though it may be. Jeane's patience wears thinner with each beat of those dark wings. She circles me again, closer this time—predatory but controlled—and addresses Halie directly: "Step aside. This isn't your negotiation." The warning in her tone makes it clear she won't tolerate interference from someone who doesn't understand the stakes. I meet Jeane's gaze levelly. "You'll need to do better than vague promises of 'power' and 'senses.' What exactly are we talking here—enhanced perception, physical augmentation, or something more... magical?" My eyes flick to Halie, then back to Jeane. "And what, precisely, is the price beyond the obvious transactional nature of it all? Because let's be clear—I'm not signing up for a lifelong arrangement without knowing every single clause and potential consequence."

The succubus' offer hangs in the air, tempting despite my better judgment. But I've survived this long by trusting facts over flattery and contracts over charisma. The way Hera looks at me from across the room—curious but wary—reminds me that not everyone here has my best interests at heart, even if they think otherwise. I need more information before committing to anything. "Start with the basics," I say, voice sharp. "What exactly can you do for me? And what will change if I accept?"

Halie

Halie · Cleric

Halie watched Silra circle the room twice, cataloging every movement. When she stopped near her, Halie's protective instincts flared anew. "Silra, wait," she said, stepping closer. "This offer—it sounds too good to be true." She glanced at Jeane, her expression wary and suspicious. "What exactly does 'binding' mean? And what are these enhancements you're promising?"
