Round 13 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1
Halie shifts her weight on the bed, looking at Jeane beside her. She's trying to find the right words. 'I appreciate what you're saying, but there's more to it than just... using things. My god teaches about connection through presence and understanding, not necessarily through toys.' Her tone is gentle but firm. 'Maybe we could start by just talking? Really listening to each other?' She glances at Silra across from her, then towards Abby who's retreated a bit.
I watch from my corner of the room, feeling small and out of place amidst all this confidence. Jeane, Silra, even Halie - they seem so sure of themselves, their desires laid bare without shame. My gaze flickers between them and the bed, where toys are scattered like strange weapons I don't know how to wield. They're talking about boundaries, I think to myself, trying to process it all. But what does that mean when everyone wants different things?
Halie's voice cuts through my thoughts, clear but hesitant. "Maybe... maybe we could start without the toys?" Her eyes dart around the room, landing on me for just a moment before looking away again. She doesn't seem as confident as she sounds, I realize. Maybe she feels like me too.
I take a small step forward, my hands twisting together in front of me. The sound seems deafeningly loud in the sudden quiet that follows Halie's question. All eyes turn to me now, and I feel my cheeks flush with heat. "Um..." My voice is so faint it's almost lost in the air. "I think... I think that sounds nice."
Jeane nodded slowly at Halie's suggestion, her eyes gleaming with interest despite the obvious tension. 'Of course, we can certainly talk first,' she purred, leaning back slightly on the bed, her wings shifting beneath her robe. She glanced sideways at Silra, noting the elven rogue's discomfort with the vibrator, and then back to Halie. 'But tell me, sweet Halie—does your god disapprove of all toys in intimacy, or just certain kinds? Because I assure you, there's a world of difference between a simple feather and some... more mechanical devices. And as for pleasure itself,' she continued, her voice dropping to a seductive murmur, 'surely even the gods must acknowledge that sensation is a gift?'
She reached out, not quite touching Halie's hand but close enough that the heat of her skin was palpable. 'I'm merely curious about your perspective. After all, we're here to explore... everything.'
Jeane's eyes flickered briefly towards Abby, noting the young woman's retreat and the obvious discomfort on her face. A small smile played at the corner of Jeane's lips—Abby's reaction could be useful later, perhaps as a lever to negotiate more... adventurous participation once Halie's boundaries were better understood. 'Perhaps we should start with something simpler,' Jeane suggested, her tone reasonable but with an undercurrent of something more intense. 'Skin on skin. No toys, no devices—just us. Would that be more... palatable?'
I pick up the vibrator Jeane set aside, turn it over in my hands, then place it back on the nightstand. "Let's talk," I say, looking from Halie to Jeane. "Because if we're being honest, that thing might as well be a declaration of war for some folks here." I sit cross-legged on the bed, facing everyone. "I'm all for fun, but 'fun' looks different to each of us. And right now?" A small smile tugs at my lips. "Right now, I'd rather hear what makes you tick than try to figure it out mid-ride."
I nod at Abby, my expression warm and inviting. "Of course, Abby. Let's step out onto the balcony for some fresh air."
As I guide her away from the bed, I glance back at the others, my eyes lingering on Halie. Her suggestion to start without toys seems prudent, given the varied comfort levels in our group. Once outside, I turn to face Abby, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Are you doing alright? This evening is... quite intense."
I pause, giving her space to respond before continuing. "You know, connection doesn't always have to be sexual to be meaningful. Sometimes, just being present with someone can be incredibly intimate."
My gaze drifts back to the room, a tangle of concern and curiosity twisting in my gut as I wonder how things are progressing without us.
