Jeane grits her teeth as she channels arcane energy through the dildo plugged into the wall socket, the barrier spell flickering into existence with visible effort. Her wings twitch nervously while sweat beads on her pale skin—she knows this is barely holding and won't last much longer. Across the dark corridor, Halie struggles to maintain the makeshift barricade blocking the main door as it groans under increasing pressure from the building's structural failure. The wardstone's energy pulses through the frame in visible waves that make her burned hands scream with each contact point.

"Two minutes!" Jeane calls out, voice strained but controlled. "Maybe less! Next pulse takes us all down unless we move now!"

Silra positions herself between Halie and the barricade, sword raised defensively. Her mechanical eyes scan the corridor behind them where something large moves in the darkness beyond the wardstone's influence. "What do you need?" she asks Jeane.

"Get Hera behind the barricade!" Jeane snarls through clenched teeth as she fights to maintain the barrier. "Now! I can't hold this and manage her panic at the same time!"

Halie wrenches another heavy object into place, muscles screaming as she fights gravity and momentum. The barricade shifts ominously but holds for now—barely. Her burned hands throb with each movement, skin blistering worse under the wardstone's corruption seepage.

"Almost there!" she gasps to Hera cowering behind her. "Just a few more seconds!"

The building groans louder as another support column fails somewhere above them. Dust rains down from the ceiling while the floor tilts slightly—just enough to make Halie's precarious balance even worse. The wardstone pulses again, stronger than before, and the barrier Jeane is maintaining flickers dangerously.

"One minute!" Jeane shouts over the creaking timber and groaning concrete. "Everyone behind that barricade now or we all die in the collapse!"

Silra grabs Hera by the arm and drags her away from the door frame where she was huddled, the woman's terrified sobbing filling the air as she resists. The mechanical woman half-drags, half-carrying her toward the makeshift barrier while keeping her sword ready to face whatever emerges from the darkness.

Halie redoubles her efforts on the barricade, muscles burning as she fights against physics and panic. The mirror at the center of her construction wobbles ominously—one good shove and it'll all come crashing down.

"Not happening!" she growls through gritted teeth, throwing her weight against a heavy chest of drawers to pin it in place. The wood splinters under the force but the structure holds for now.

"Jeane!" Silra calls out as she positions herself beside Halie behind the barricade. "What's your plan?"

The succubus woman doesn't answer immediately—she's too focused on maintaining the barrier while sweat drips from her jaw onto the floor. The dildo in her hand buzzes with stolen demonic energy, magic crackling around them in visible tendrils that smell faintly of sulfur and sex.

"Can't hold this much longer!" she finally manages between gritted teeth. "We need to get out through that door—wardstone's energy is eating through my spellwork faster than I can repair it!"

Halie stares at her in horror. "You want us to go THROUGH the wardstone? Are you insane?"

Jeane's crimson eyes flash dangerously as she glares back. "Would you rather wait here for the whole fucking building to come down on our heads? The wardstone's corruption is slower than structural collapse—at least I can protect us from one threat at a time!"

Silra steps forward, mechanical eyes calculating angles and possibilities. "She has a point," she says calmly despite the situation. "The barrier won't last much longer, and if we're caught in a total collapse behind this barricade, we'll be crushed or buried alive."

Halie shakes her head frantically, burned hands clenching into fists. "But going through that wardstone—it's killing Hera! You saw what it did to her hands!"

"Exactly," Jeane snarls, the barrier flickering ominously behind her. "And it'll do worse if we stay here. I can shield us from the worst of it—temporarily at least—but we need to MOVE!"

The building groans again, louder this time, and a section of ceiling cracks visibly above them. Dust pours down like snow as the floor tilts another degree.

"OUT!" Jeane screams, her voice cutting through the creaking timber. "NOW! Form up behind me and we'll push through together!"

She releases the barrier spell with a gasp of relief even as she begins weaving a new one around herself—this one flickering and unstable, clearly drawn from more... questionable sources than normal arcane energy.

Silra doesn't hesitate. She grabs Hera by the arm and pulls her close, shielding the terrified woman with her body as they move toward Jeane.

"Stay close," she orders. "Do exactly what Jeane says—her magic is our only protection right now."

Halie wrenches herself away from the barricade with a cry of pain as her burned hands protest the movement. She stumbles forward, muscles screaming, and grabs Hera's other arm to help Silra support the woman.

"You heard her!" she snarls at Hera. "Move your ass or we all die here!"

The wardstone pulses again—louder, stronger—and the very air seems to thicken with corruption as they approach the door. Jeane grits her teeth and pushes forward, her new barrier spell flickering around them like oil on water.

"Through the door!" she shouts over her shoulder. "Stay close and don't fucking touch anything!"

They burst through into the corridor beyond—into darkness and the palpable presence of something ancient and malevolent waiting in the depths. The wardstone's energy coats everything here, visible as a sickly green glow that pulses with each heartbeat.

Jeane staggers forward, her wings wrapping around the group protectively while she maintains the barrier spell with visible effort. The dildo in her hand buzzes ominously, magic crackling around them in dangerous tendrils.

"Fuck," she mutters as they pause to catch their breath. "This is so much worse than I expected."

The corridor stretches ahead of them—dark and twisting, lined with doors that pulse with the same sickly green glow as the wardstone itself. Something moves deeper inside, something large and deliberate in its approach.

Silra's mechanical eyes scan the area, calculating threats and escape routes. "We need to keep moving," she says calmly despite the situation. "This corridor is too confined—if whatever's coming catches up with us here, we're trapped."

Halie nods grimly, burned hands held protectively against her chest as she tries to shield Hera from contact with the walls. The woman is shaking uncontrollably now, eyes wide with terror.

"Where do we go?" she asks, voice trembling. "Everything in this place is cursed!"

Jeane's crimson eyes narrow as she surveys their options—dark corridor stretching ahead or return to the collapsing building behind them. Neither choice looks good.

"The wardstone's energy is strongest here," she says slowly, tapping into her demonic senses for information. "Which means there's something important nearby—that's what's drawing whatever's coming after us."

She points down the corridor with her free hand—the one not gripping the dildo. "I think I can sense... something. A nexus point maybe? Where all this corruption is originating from?"

Silra tilts her head, mechanical ears picking up faint sounds from deeper inside the building. "Whatever it is, we need to find it fast—because whatever's following us is getting closer."

Halie looks torn between fear and determination as she helps support Hera. The woman's breathing is coming in panicked gasps now, each touch with the corrupted walls making her flinch.

"We can't just wander into whatever this thing wants!" she protests. "That's exactly what it wants!"

Jeane rolls her eyes—something she can manage even while maintaining a dangerous spell and tapping demonic reserves for power. "Trust me, I know better than anyone what these things want," she snarls. "But sometimes the only way out is through—and this... thing... whatever it is, we need to understand it before we can fight it."

She takes a step forward, her barrier spell flickering around them ominously. The dildo in her hand buzzes louder as she draws on more power.

"Besides," she adds with a grim smile that shows too many teeth, "I've got some experience dealing with ancient evils. Let me do what I do best—you three just stay close and try not to touch anything."

Silra moves forward without hesitation, positioning herself between the group and whatever lies ahead. Her sword is drawn now, blade gleaming in the sickly green light as she scans the corridor for threats.

"Lead on," she says simply. "But keep talking—if we lose visual contact in this darkness, we'll be easy prey."

Jeane begins walking slowly down the corridor, her wings half-spread for protection while the barrier spell pulses around them like a visible shield. The air grows thicker with corruption the deeper they go—each step making her skin crawl and her stomach twist with remembered pains.

"This place," she mutters, more to herself than anyone else, "reminds me of home. Too much."

Halie helps guide Hera forward, the woman stumbling in terror as each footstep brings them further into the corruption. Her burned hands leave faint marks on the walls where they brush against the green-glowing surface—each contact making her gasp with fresh pain.

"We're going deeper," she hisses to Silra. "This is insane!"

The mechanical woman doesn't answer immediately—she's listening, calculating, watching for movement in the darkness ahead. Finally she speaks, voice low and calm despite the situation.

"I hear something," she says. "Multiple somethings. Moving toward us from at least three different directions."

Jeane stops abruptly, crimson eyes narrowing as she focuses her demonic senses on the surrounding darkness. The dildo in her hand buzzes erratically for a moment before settling into a steady hum—she's found something.

"Fuck," she mutters. "It's not one thing following us. It's multiple things—and they're herding us."

She turns to face the group, expression grim but determined. The barrier spell flickers around them ominously as she taps more demonic power to maintain it against the increasing corruption.

"We need to move faster," she says urgently. "They're driving us toward something—probably that nexus point I sensed earlier."

Halie's eyes widen with horror as the implications sink in. "So we're being... herded? Like cattle?"

Jeane nods grimly. "Exactly. And whatever's at the end of this corridor—whatever created all this corruption—it wants us for something specific."

Silra shifts her grip on her sword, mechanical eyes scanning the darkness ahead and behind them. "Then we need to change the game," she says calmly. "If they're herding us, let's give them what they expect... then strike first when they think they have us cornered."

Jeane's lips curl into a feral grin that shows too many teeth. "Now you're speaking my language," she purrs, dark energy crackling around the dildo in her hand. "Let's show these ancient fuckers why you don't mess with a succubus and her friends."
