Jeane channeled demonic energy through the dildo plugged into the wall socket, maintaining the barrier spell that kept the wardstone's corruption contained behind the bathroom door. The mirror she was using as a brace creaked ominously under the strain, and fresh cracks spiderwebbed across its surface with each pulse of the entity beyond. Water from the broken shower stall mixed with spilled lubricant on the floor, creating an unstable slick surface that made every movement precarious.

"Stop looking around in panic," she snapped at Halie, voice sharp enough to cut through the growing fear in the corridor. "You have a job. Keep that mirror braced or we're all buried alive." Her crimson eyes blazed with barely contained fury and desperation—she needed this barrier to hold for just two more minutes before the entire building collapsed around them.

Silra moved through the darkness behind them, fingers tracing the floorboards where water had seeped in from the broken shower. Every pulse of the wardstone felt like teeth scraping against her skin—Jeane was holding back something monstrous behind that door, and they didn't have time for careful exploration. She found a gap in the wall paneling near the ceiling, wide enough to fit her arm through. The space beyond felt cavernous and empty, but she couldn't see more than a few feet into it.

"There's something here," she called out, voice tight with urgency. "I think there might be a service corridor or maintenance shaft—it feels bigger than just this hallway." But bigger didn't necessarily mean safer when the entire building was about to come down around their ears. The floor shifted again under her boots, and she had to brace herself against the wall to keep from falling on her ass.

Halie shifted her grip on the mirror, burned hands screaming despite the demonic reserve flowing through them from Jeane's channeling. The wardstone pulsed again in response to their presence—she felt it like teeth scraping bone. "I can't hold this much longer," she called out, voice tight with effort. The door frame cracked, fresh dust pouring down as the building groaned around them.

"Hera, get behind me." She tried to position herself between Hera and the dark corridor beyond without acting on her growing panic. The structural integrity was failing by the second—she could feel it in every creak and groan of the ancient wood.
