Round 113 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

At dark corridor in New York high rise penthouse suite, the pressure shifts from waiting to immediate risk. The ward answers the party's presence with a fresh pulse through the stone and no one can mistake it for safety. The nearest sign of danger is now structural collapse imminent. Someone has to answer that change now.
I feel the wardstone's pulse intensify through the door frame—each beat like nails on my fucking spine—and the building groans like it's got a migraine. The water from the broken shower mixes with whatever lube these perverts left lying around, turning the floor into an ice rink under our feet. Hera's gripping that mirror frame like it's her last prayer and she won't let go even if God himself shows up to offer alternatives. Her eyes are wide and frantic—she's one breath away from full-blown panic which will make this situation so much worse. Silra's trying to tie the rope around the door handle, but her hands are shaking almost as badly as Hera's. Useless. I need someone competent right now, not a fucking nervous wreck. The wardstone pulses again, stronger this time—it knows we're here and it wants us in there. I step closer to the door, ignoring the way my demon half screams at me to stay back. "Listen up, you lot," I snap, voice sharper than I mean it to be but fuck it, we don't have time for gentle. "That door gives way in the next sixty seconds and we're dead or worse. Hera, get behind that dresser over there—you'll have cover if the door fails completely."
The mirror frame creaks ominously in our hands. I can feel the wardstone's energy pulsing through the wood now—not just seeing it, but feeling it in my teeth and bones. Every surge makes me want to drop everything and cover my ears. We're not going to make it out of here by fighting this thing with sex and desperation. The building is coming down around us, and every moan from that stone makes the concrete above groan louder. We need a real plan—a way out that doesn't involve playing with fire we can't control. Jeane, I appreciate what you're trying to do, but this isn't working anymore. The wardstone answers everything we do with more power—more hunger—and it's going to bring this whole floor down on us before we find a way to stop it. We need to think beyond immediate pleasure and into survival that actually lasts. I'm not saying we give up or throw caution to the wind, but using Silra as some kind of... conduit for energy isn't a long-term solution. The stone's answering our sexual energy with its own power, and I don't know how much longer this bathroom wall is going to hold back whatever's on the other side. I'm not judging what you're doing—God knows I've made my share of compromises in tight spots—but we need a plan that doesn't involve getting ourselves corrupted just to feel good for a few minutes. Hera, Silra—I want us all alive when this is over, and right now our odds are dropping with every second. If there's a way to channel this energy without opening ourselves up further, I'm listening. But if we keep riding this wave of pleasure-and-survival, we're going to drown in it before the building does.
Hera grips the mirror frame tightly, her knuckles white from the strain. The wet surface slips in her hands as she braces against the door with all her might. "Shit, shit, shit!" she mutters under her breath. Water gushes from the broken shower stall, mixing with the spilled lubricant on the floor and turning it into a slippery obstacle course. Hera's feet slide precariously as she fights to keep her balance and maintain pressure on the barricade. Through the cracks in the doorframe, eerie pulses of energy from the wardstone flash, illuminating the darkness of the corridor beyond. The air feels charged, heavy with an otherworldly presence that sets Hera's teeth on edge. "Halie!" Hera calls out, her voice strained with urgency. "I can't hold this much longer! We need to move, now!"
Halie's face appears in the gap beside the door, her features etched with pain and determination. "Stay behind me, Hera. If this thing gives way, I'll shield you."
Jeane's voice echoes from the other side of the barricade, raw with desperation. "The building's coming down! We have to find a way out of this corridor!"
Hera's heart pounds in her chest as she wrestles with the mirror frame, each second feeling like an eternity. She knows they're running out of time, but the thought of venturing into the unknown darkness fills her with dread. "Silra!" Hera shouts, her voice cracking with fear. "Is there another way out? A hidden door or a secret passage?"
The elf's response is lost in the groaning of the straining structure above them and the ominous pulses of energy from the wardstone.
