Round 54 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

At Penthouse suite in a New York high rise, the pressure shifts from waiting to immediate risk. The ward answers the party's presence with a fresh pulse through the stone and no one can mistake it for safety. The nearest sign of danger is now structural instability from wardstone interaction. Someone has to answer that change now.
The wardstone's pulses echo like a death rattle now—the building groans with each beat. We're running out of time. I turn to Silra directly. I understand what you mean by chaos, but we need something more controlled—something that overwhelms the sensors without collapsing this entire structure on us. My eyes flick to Jeane and Hera, still locked in her grip. There has to be a way to disrupt its focus without endangering everyone here. I take a step forward, voice steady despite the fear coiling cold in my gut. I'm willing to try—if you can tell me exactly what kind of energy surge would work, and how I might channel it through prayer or divine energy without relying on... physical acts that violate my faith.
The stone pulses again, harder this time, and dust sifts from the ceiling cracks. We don't have much longer before this place comes down around our ears.
Jeane's eyes flash as she surveys the room—Silra's casual brutality, Hera's fear, and this…this pressure building like a second heart beneath our feet. The wardstone pulses again, harder now, the sound echoing through my bones. Time is not our ally here. A sharp glance at Silra. Chaos. You speak of chaos as if it were some theatrical prop. What exactly do you mean by 'chaos'? And make it specific, or so help me I'll find something far more creative than 'spectacle' to occupy Hera's mouth before this building collapses around us all. The futanari demon flexes her wings instinctively, a show of barely contained power. This structure won't withstand whatever…whatever perverse display you're imagining. Unless you have a very specific plan that doesn't involve redecorating in blood and concrete?
Hera's heart pounds in her chest as she feels Jeane's grip tighten on her arm. The building around them groans ominously, and Hera swears she can feel the very walls trembling with each pulse of the wardstone. "Please," Hera pleads, her voice shaking, "there has to be another way. We can't - I can't -"
Jeane's eyes flash dangerously, her wings fluttering in a display of barely contained rage and arousal. "There is no other way, little mouse," she hisses. "The wardstone demands tribute, and if we don't provide it soon, this entire building will come crashing down around our ears."
Hera swallows hard, her mouth gone dry with fear. She can see the desperation in Jeane's eyes, the wild, almost frantic look of a woman teetering on the edge of control. And yet, even as her mind screams at her to run, to flee this madness, Hera finds herself unable to look away from the sorcerer's intense gaze. "Silra," Jeane snaps, turning her attention to the elven rogue, "I don't have time for your games. If you can't overload those sensors with enough chaos to give us a chance, then perhaps I should find someone who can."
Silra's eyes narrow, but she holds her ground. "I'm not volunteering myself, but if someone creates enough chaos to overload its sensors temporarily, I might be able to slip in and disable it from the inside."
Jeane scoffs, but there's a hint of respect in her voice. "And what exactly do you mean by 'chaos'?"
Silra meets Jeane's gaze unflinchingly. "The kind of chaos that will make the wardstone wish it had never been activated in the first place."
