Round 41 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

At Penthouse suite in a New York high rise, the pressure shifts from waiting to immediate risk. The ward answers the party's presence with a fresh pulse through the stone and no one can mistake it for safety. The nearest sign of danger is now structural instability from wardstone interaction. Someone has to answer that change now.
I tremble as I kneel before the wardstone, my heart pounding in my chest. The building groans around us, and I can feel the intense energy radiating from the stone. Silra's words echo in my mind - this is no longer a simple show, but a ritual that demands genuine intent and commitment.
As Jeane commands me to kneel properly, I feel a surge of fear and arousal. The situation is complicated, and I know that one wrong move could have catastrophic consequences. But at the same time, I cannot deny the growing desire that pulses through my body, mirroring the throbbing of the wardstone.
I look up at Jeane, my eyes wide with both terror and longing. My hands shake as I reach for the sybian, unsure whether to embrace the ritual or resist its demands. The weight of the situation bears down on me, and I know that whatever happens next, it will change everything.
I stand frozen near Hera, my heart pounding in my chest as Jeane commands her to kneel properly. The building groans around us again, a deep, ominous sound that seems to vibrate right through me, and I flinch.
"Oh god," I whisper, my voice so faint it's almost lost in the air. My eyes dart from Jeane to Hera to the wardstone, which pulses with an eerie light, casting strange shadows on the walls. The threat of the building collapsing is suddenly so much more real, so immediate.
My gaze falls on Silra, who seems to be the only one truly understanding what's happening. She looks up from her ritual preparations and our eyes meet for a moment. I see fear in them, but also an intense focus. It's clear she's trying to prevent a disaster, not just for us, but for everyone in the building.
I take a small step back, wanting to be as far away from the source of this danger as possible. My mind races with questions, all of them terrified: What is going on? Why is the wardstone causing all of this? Can Silra really stop it?
"I... I don't understand any of this," I stammer out, my voice trembling. I look at Hera again, kneeling now, and feel a strange mix of envy and sympathy. She seems so calm, so accepting of what Jeane is doing to her. But then again, she's been in this world longer than I have. Maybe she knows something about appeasing magical entities that I don't.
