Round 20 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

At Penthouse suite in a New York high rise, the pressure shifts from waiting to immediate risk. The ward answers the party's presence with a fresh pulse through the stone and no one can mistake it for safety. The nearest sign of danger is now structural instability from wardstone interaction. Someone has to answer that change now.
I feel it too—the building breathing around us. The wardstone's pulse is getting faster now, insistent. If we don't respond somehow, this whole structure could come down on our heads. I look at Silra, then Jeane. "The stone answers lust with power—we need to give it what it wants before it takes the entire building." My voice stays steady despite the anxiety coiling in my gut. The foundation groans again, a sound that makes Hera jump slightly.
I stand frozen near the edge of the group, my eyes wide with a mixture of terror and morbid fascination as I watch the wardstone pulse in time with Jeane’s words. The air crackles around us, heavy with an unnatural energy that makes every hair on my arms stand on end. My heart hammers against my ribs like a trapped bird.
Silra’s assessment sends another chill through me—the building groans as if it’s alive, the timbers creaking under the pressure of something unseen but deeply felt. I take a small step back, my heel catching on the plush carpet. The thought of this entire suite coming down around us is terrifying, yet there’s a dark thrill to it too, a sense of being at the mercy of a force more powerful than any of us.
My gaze darts between Jeane, Silra, and Hera, trying to gauge their reactions, to understand what I should do. Should I run? Hide? My instincts scream for survival, but there’s an undeniable current running through me, a low hum of arousal that seems to pulse in time with the stone.
As Jeane moves closer to Silra, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, my breath catches in my throat. They’re talking about lust, about using it to appease this... thing. The idea is both shocking and immensely appealing. I feel a flush creep up my neck, hot and undeniable.
I step closer to Silra, my eyes never leaving Hera's face. "Seismic sensor for lust? How wonderfully precise." The wardstone pulses again, the building groaning like a beast waking from slumber. "What exactly are you proposing, Silra?" My voice stays low, almost intimate despite the tension crackling between us. I glance at Abby frozen near the wall—her terror amuses me more than it should. Hera's presence complicates things, but perhaps that's part of what drew Silra to this solution.
This isn't about some kinky sensor. That stone's alive—breathing slow, hungry—and the building answers it like a reflex. Every pulse gets faster, pressure builds. The timbers aren't just creaking; they're groaning under stress. We don't have time to finesse this or make Hera comfortable. It wants energy now. If we keep dicking around, the whole damn place comes down. That's not metaphor—it's math. We need a release valve for that pressure before it fractures the structure. The stone's rhythm is off—the next pulse might be the one that cracks a support beam. So yes, lustful acts, but strategic and fast. Unless someone has better ideas than fucking our way out of this literal death trap?
I feel the building shudder around us, the timbers creaking like an awakening beast. The wardstone pulses in time with my racing heart, its presence heavy and hungry. I catch Silra's eye across the room, her gaze intense and calculating. "Silra," I call out, stepping closer. "What are we going to do about this thing? It feels... alive."
