At Penthouse suite in a New York high rise, the pressure shifts from waiting to immediate risk. The ward answers the party's presence with a fresh pulse through the stone and no one can mistake it for safety. Someone has to answer that change now.

Jeane

Jeane · Sorcerer

I look at Silra's hand on my shoulder, then at her face. The stone groans again beneath us—louder this time—and Hera gasps audibly from her corner of the room. My gaze shifts to her, taking in how she stands there watching us, a war of want and hesitation playing out across her features. I feel the ward pulse stronger now through my boots. "I didn't know you were such a worrier," I say to Halie, though it comes out softer than intended because the stone just shifted again with an ominous creak. "My safe word is 'crimson,' by the way." My hand unconsciously moves toward Silra's waist as I speak, fingers finding purchase at her hip while my eyes remain on Hera's face across the room. The ward pulses in time with my heartbeat now, each beat making it throb harder against the floor. "So tell me what you have in mind," I prompt Silra, voice low despite the tension building between us and around us. "Something that doesn't make the building fall down would be ideal." My thumb starts to trace slow circles on her hip without my conscious command as I watch Hera watching us. The ward groans again—a sound like old wood settling—but it's not settling, it's responding to Silra's energy. I don't look away from Hera when I speak next. "Because if you have ideas that involve more… direct application of your talents, we should probably consider the structural integrity of this floor before proceeding." My eyes stay locked on hers despite the heat gathering low in my belly from just touching Silra like this and talking about it while someone else watches. The ward pulses with every beat of my heart now.

Halie

Halie · Cleric

I see Silra's boldness is unchanged despite my warnings. This feels less like casual fun and more like testing limits we might regret pushing. I won't stand by while she endangers Jeane or any of us, but neither will I force myself between them when Jeane seems... willing. This ward is responding already. The stone groans underfoot like a sleeping giant disturbed too roughly. We've tested it before—carefully—but Silra's energy has always felt sharp to me, eager in ways that make my skin prickle. Now she stands close enough to share breath with Jeane while discussing boundaries as though this were an academic exercise rather than two bodies preparing to ignite each other. Hera watches from the corner, her expression torn between hunger and hesitation—a war I recognize all too well when faced with temptation I've sworn not to yield to. The sorceress's hand rests casually on Silra's hip now, a gesture that speaks volumes about their ease together despite Jeane's earlier nervousness. I need to say something before this spirals further out of control. We're playing with forces we don't fully understand—both the ward and whatever passes between these two women when they look at each other like that. But I also won't be the one to clip their wings or impose my moral code where it's not welcome. The room feels too small suddenly, the air thick with unspoken expectations and rising heat. If we're going down this road again—if this is truly what everyone wants—I need assurances first. Ground rules that protect us all, even if only barely. Because once Silra starts exploring those sharp edges she favors, it's hard to tell where curiosity ends and genuine danger begins. I step forward, my voice measured but firm. "Jeane," I begin, addressing the sorceress directly since she seems at the center of this developing storm. "Your safe word is crucial—vital even—but words won't save us if the entire building decides it's had enough of our experiments." My eyes flick to Silra briefly before returning to Jeane. "Perhaps we find new ways to test its limits? Ways that don't involve... pressure shifts or structural compromises?"

Hera

Hera · Civilian

Hera watches the scene unfold before her, captivated by the intensity between Silra and Jeane. The air is thick with tension, and Hera can feel her own desire building as she witnesses their intimate interactions. However, she also feels a sense of hesitation, unsure if she's ready to fully join in on the fun. Hera's eyes dart between Silra and Jeane, taking in every subtle shift in posture, every lingering touch. She notices how Silra's hands seem to dance along Jeane's curves, teasing and tempting, while Jeane's breath hitches at each point of contact. The ward pulses in response, its stone groaning as if awakening from a deep slumber. In spite of the excitement, Hera can't shake the feeling that they're treading on dangerous ground. Halie's warnings about Silra's depravity echo in her mind, mingling with the promise of pleasure. She knows she wants to be part of this experience, to feel the heat of their passion, but she also knows she needs to find her own way to test limits without pushing too far. As the conversation between Jeane and Silra continues, Hera finds herself drawn closer, unable to resist the magnetic pull of their energy. She steps forward, her heart racing as she prepares to join them in their exploration, ready to navigate the delicate balance between desire and caution.

Silra

Silra · Rogue

Jeane's eyes meet mine, and there's a war in them—a tug-of-war between the sorceress who craves control and the woman who wants to surrender it. I lean closer, my lips barely brushing her ear when I speak. "Something that doesn't make the building fall down? You're no fun." My hand slides up her arm, feeling the goosebumps rise beneath my palm. "But fine. How about this—we test each other instead of the ward. I bet I can make you forget your own name before the hour's out."

The stone groans again, a low rumble that seems to vibrate through Jeane's body pressed against mine. Hera gasps from her corner, and I catch sight of Abby shifting position behind the curtain. I'm not backing down—not because I don't care about the building, but because right now, watching Jeane wrestle with her desires is far more interesting than any structural integrity report could ever be.

Abby

Abby · Civilian

I press myself back against the wall behind the heavy velvet curtain, my heart hammering in my chest. The groan of the ancient stone beneath our feet is like nothing I've ever heard before, a deep, resonating sound that seems to vibrate right through me. It's terrifying and exhilarating all at once.
Through a small gap in the fabric, I can see them - Silra and Jeane, their bodies moving together with such raw hunger it takes my breath away. Hera is watching from the corner of her eye, her own expression a mixture of captivation and hesitancy. A flush creeps up my neck as I watch, a familiar heat pooling low in my belly.
Silra's challenge hangs in the air between them, a dare that makes my stomach clench with both fear and anticipation. I know what Jeane is thinking - she wants to win this game more than anything. And Silra... oh, Silra looks like she could devour her whole.
