I am Halie, and I struggle here in these rooms where flesh meets spirit more directly than I was taught. My calling is to heal, to guide, but the lines blur when pleasure becomes prayer and sin feels like grace. I try to hold us together—Abby's resolve, Silra's hunger, Hera's fire, Jeane's drive—but I fear my hands are too small for such a task.
