Silra's teal eyes gleam with barely contained glee as she watches the security forces scramble. This is going even better than I hoped, she murmurs to Jeane. Those poor saps think they're in control.*

Jeane rolls her eyes despite the tension. Control? They're about to lose power in every room of this building. That's hardly 'control.' She keeps her wings spread wide, blocking the guards' access. But I'll admit, watching them squirm is almost worth getting caught for.*

The two male guards exchange a desperate glance, their weapons still drawn but useless against Silra's technomancy. This is insane, one hisses to his partner. They're just two women—how are we supposed to—*

Silra cuts him off with a sharp gesture. Out. Both of you. Now. The crackling energy around her device intensifies, the air itself seeming to vibrate with contained power.

The guards exchange a look and back away slowly, hands raised in surrender. This is a fucking nightmare, one mutters as they retreat toward the door. We're going to get our asses chewed for this.*

Jeane smirks despite her situation—she can't help but enjoy watching the security forces scramble. You know, she says to Silra, when we get out of this alive, I'm buying you a drink. One with an umbrella in it, because clearly you're magic incarnate.*

Silra laughs, a sharp sound that echoes in the tense room. Magic incarnate? I prefer 'technomancer extraordinaire.' But yes—drinks are definitely happening once we're safely out of this corporate hellhole.*

Ms. Harris remains behind her desk, her expression now one of cold calculation rather than shock. You won't get far, she says, her voice steady despite the obvious tension in her posture. The entire building is on lockdown—no exits will open from the inside.*

Silra's teal eyes gleam with something that might be amusement or pure adrenaline rush. We'll take our chances, she says, already moving toward the door with Jeane close behind.

As they pass through the doorway, Jeane catches a glimpse of Ms. Harris reaching for her radio—no doubt to alert every available security force in the building. But right now, they have other problems. Like getting out alive.*
