Round 64 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As Silra finishes speaking, the platform's warning system blares again, its tone now a frantic warning: "Tunnel breach imminent. Structural failure predicted within 30 seconds." The ice layer formed by Jeane's spell begins to crack and shatter, water rushing in to take its place. Halie's shield magic holds strong, but her eyes widen in alarm as the platform groans ominously beneath them. Silra's screens flicker with urgency as she rapidly inputs additional commands, her fingers flying across the keyboards with a speed and dexterity that belies the danger closing in around them. "We need to move, now!" she exclaims, her voice tight with urgency. "If we can make it through the tunnel quickly, we might be able to outrun the structural failure."
Jeane's wings beat once, twice, creating a small whirlpool in the rising floodwaters as she readies herself to lead the way into the unknown tunnel. Halie places a hand on her arm, her expression serious despite the panic growing in her chest. "Let's go," she says, her voice steady but firm. The platform groans again, louder this time, and the sound of rushing water and creaking metal fills the air as the tunnel entrance begins to collapse, its steel beams swaying precariously in the rising floodwaters.
Fuck this—no more waiting for permission! Jeane snarls, her demonic wings unfurling to their full span as she glares at both Silra's floating screens and Halie's worried expression. You want out? Fine—I'll make a way out whether you like my methods or not. With a guttural incantation that sends frost across the platform, Jeane unleashes a blast of arcane power directly at the tunnel entrance. The water there freezes solid in an instant, creating a precarious but stable pathway. Move! She snaps at them both, her crimson eyes blazing with impatience and barely restrained fury as she steps onto the ice bridge she's created.
This is my solution to your 'complications'—either take it or drown like the rats you seem determined to become. The frozen tunnel groans ominously under her weight, but holds. I'm not wasting another second on technical bullshit while we sink deeper into this corporate death trap!
Silra's fingers never stop moving across her interface as she processes the situation. Jeane, you absolute lunatic! That ice is temporary and unstable—it won't hold against the full force of this flood for more than a minute at best! Her teal eyes flick rapidly between multiple screens showing structural analyses and water pressure readings. You've bought us maybe thirty seconds with that stunt. Great job. She turns to Halie, her expression tight but controlled. Halie, can you extend your shield magic around the entire entrance area? If we move fast enough, we might be able to stabilize it long enough for me to access the maintenance tunnel's control systems from inside. Her fingers are already moving across a new command sequence even as she speaks. This is going to require precision and timing—no half-measures or heroic posturing this time.
