Silra's fingers danced across the invisible keyboard interface, her teal eyes scanning lines of code faster than any human should be able to read. The servers hummed in approval, their screens glowing with an otherworldly light, but the countdown timer on the screen remained steady at 35 seconds. She flicked her gaze up from the screen, meeting Halie's blue-grey eyes with a mix of focus and concern.

"I've got it," Silra said, a hint of triumph in her voice despite the tension in her shoulders. "Financial records, target lists, encrypted files—all the dirt we need to bury these corporate monsters." She turned back to the screens, her fingers never stopping their frantic movement. "But this 'Eclipse Protocol'? It's not just some demonic firewall—it's an entity. A real, actual thing that's trying to possess the entire server network."

Jeane stepped closer to the array, her crimson eyes gleaming in the harsh light of the screens. The dark energy swirling around her focus crystal pulsed in sync with the corrupted data streams, as if feeding off each other. "An entity?" she mused, a dangerous edge to her voice. "How fascinating. Perhaps we should have a little... conversation with it." Her wings unfurled slightly, casting shadows across the room.

Silra's hands paused mid-type, and she whirled around to face Jeane. "Wait—what? No! Absolutely not. We're here to hack, not to summon eldritch horrors or engage in demonic conversations." Her teal eyes were wide with genuine alarm now. "Do you have any idea what could happen if we let something like that loose? This entire subway system could become a gateway to—"

"Relax," Jeane interrupted, her tone dripping with condescension. "I'm not suggesting we unleash it—I'm suggesting we use it. Think about it: an entity bound to the servers themselves? That's a perfect backdoor into every connected system in this building." She gestured grandly at the array. "We could own the entire company's network with one little... negotiation."

Silra crossed her arms, her expression skeptical. "And what happens when this 'entity' decides it wants more than just a backdoor? What if it wants to possess us instead?" She glanced nervously at Halie, silently seeking backup.

Halie stepped forward, her voice firm and measured. "Jeane is right about one thing—the potential power here is immense. But Silra's concerns are valid too." Her blue-grey eyes met Jeane's with a stern gaze. "We cannot afford to underestimate the risks of dealing with such entities. The consequences could be... catastrophic."

Jeane's expression darkened, her wings folding tightly against her back. "Fine. Have it your way—we'll play it safe and hope the evidence we have is enough." She turned away, muttering under her breath about 'cowardly mortals' and 'missed opportunities.' The dark energy around her crystal flickered ominously.

Silra let out a slow breath, her fingers resuming their work on the keyboard. "Alright, new plan: we extract what we can, wipe our tracks, and get the hell out before anyone—or anything—else shows up." She glanced at Halie again, seeking approval or at least agreement.

Halie nodded slowly, her expression still grave. "Agreed. But be quick—those 35 seconds are ticking away faster than I'd like."
