The air in the high-rise room crackled with barely-contained energy as the countdown timer hit thirty seconds remaining. Silra’s fingers danced across the keyboard, her teal eyes fixed on the screen as she cracked the final layer of encryption. The system’s warning message flashed: "Encryption bypassed. Access granted." A new window opened, showing a video feed from somewhere inside the building—a dimly lit room filled with adult toys and bondage gear, a figure that looked distinctly like Jeane sprawled over some kind of sex machine, moaning in what sounded like both pleasure and pain.

Silra felt her stomach drop as she realized the implications. This was exactly the kind of compromising material that could be used against them, especially Jeane, and here it was, staring them in the face. She glanced at Halie, noting the paladin’s hand tighten on her holy symbol, then back to the screen where the timestamp showed it was from the night before, during their supposed "free time" at the hotel.

Jeane stepped closer, her crimson eyes scanning the screen intently as she felt a subtle shift in the room’s energy. "Careful now," she warned, placing a hand on Silra’s shoulder and channeling a small amount of her heatwave magic to create a protective barrier around the rogue’s system. "I feel something tugging at the edges of my power, like a digital leash trying to pull our resident hacker into their web. Stay focused—if you feel any kind of possession attempt or digital corruption, let me know immediately."

Silra paused her typing, her teal eyes narrowing as she considered Jeane’s words. She appreciated the backup, but hated feeling like she needed saving. "Thanks for the backup," she muttered, though her tone suggested it was more obligation than gratitude. "But let’s not turn this into a damn superhero movie. I’m fine." She felt the faint tug on her system, something trying to access deeper layers of her consciousness, but she pushed back with practiced ease.

The real problem wasn’t any digital threat—it was the video footage itself. This was exactly the kind of compromising material that could be used against them, especially Jeane, and here it was, clear as day on the screen. She needed to prevent this from being exploited, but how?
